Minerva McGregor has been working in music, in one way or another, for 7 years. From songwriting, to promoting, to performance - she has sought to do the best with what she has available to her. With influences ranging from Paul Simon and Neil Young to Hypocrisy and Metallica, Minerva's songwriting portrays a sense of melancholy hope that will not be forsaken, despite the cost. "Many people say that my work is 'inspirational', which I disagree with", says McGregor. "I write the truth as I perceive it. If my reality is better than yours, you're certainly welcome to join me". Though Minerva clearly dedicates her music to Christ, she is wary of being labeled a 'Christian artist' - "Many people have the mistaken impression that Christian music is all praise and worship...though I enjoy that style, I find it is not what I am called to create". Minerva McGregor has returned to her solo work and is currently writing and seeking other dedicated musicians to refine a catalogue of over seventy songs.
