"Everything happens for a reason" - it's what my mum always said and a mantra I like to live by. Then again I could probably fill this whole page with wise words from Jamaican mums! - but I won't.I currently co-present TXU - 2 hours of music, news, sport, entertainment and discussion - on black music station 1Xtra BBC here in the UK. I do it with my radio husband G Money.I've always wanted to broadcaster, I love my music, and nothing can beat the fast paced world of news. So working in all three is magic to me - I love it.I've worked at the New York Post as a features writer, at ITV and ITV Sport as a producer, and at 1Xtra have worked as a reporter too. My highlights probably being Trinidad carnival 2005, and interviewing one of my idols - Maya Angelou. Have done everything from reporting on shootings and serious crimes, to finding out how to date a fireman in New York (for the Post) and teaching Redman ridiculous party games when he was on a visit in London.Still loads left to do though, own a production company and make programmes for TV and Radio, go back to writing and return to TV. So I'll finish on another saying from mum - "you can achieve anything as long as you put your mind to it."
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!
