RRR brings her hybrid self to the stage – blending a childhood steeped in folk music & myth with the grit that came from her urban upbringing. She tells folktales from around the globe & strings them together with songs & an awareness of their contemporary relevance.
She has run story workshops with refugees as part of the Act for Darfur Coalition. Bridging over the storytelling and urban ‘spoken word’ scene, she specialises in taking storytelling to venues where no storyteller has been before (well that’s what they say, but she thinks they just have short memories) Venues include Festival at the Edge, Beyond the Border, Storynights at Torriano, the Innocent Village Fete, Buddhafield, Alden Biesen (Belgium), Battersea Arts Centre, Vayu Naidu Company, Tricycle Theatre, & Burning Man Festival (USA). Themed sets, individual tales, ready-made material & commissions – you choose! RRR is a winner of UK Young Storyteller of the Year.

"As part of our Cabaret Confidential season at the Theatre Museum Rachel’s performance was astonishing. She took the stage with an easy and ego-less charm and, with the aid of her powerful, intelligent vocals, began to weave a spell amongst the audience, with tales of mermaids, moon-gazing, and following our dreams."Paul L Martin www.millionthmuse.com
