Real Name: Derikh Bryants
Profile:Experimental San Francisco, CA based techno DJ/producer who debuted on podomatic in 2006.
Founded the SOUNDTHRU project in 2006 and continued to develop his style towards a more underground and empirical blend of hard, minimal, offbeat techno, while retaining mainstream elements and continuing to incorporate mixes from tracks of well known techno artists. Later set up a number of number of mixes to cater for a small handful of techno enthusiasts, incorporating influences from house, punk, breaks, electro, drum n bass and hardcore but all leading up to his passion: techno.
SOUNDTHRU is influenced by such techno acts as SPICEEE, RUMENIGE, TAKAAKI ITOH, GAYLE SAN, DJ HOOG & WIERS, PET DUO, ANDREI MORANT, ADAM BEYER, SUPAGRUPA, WAVESOUND, LOKTIBRADA, TOKY, DJ BOSS, CARI LEKEBUSCH, OLIVER HO, ANGELA FLAME, POUNDING GROOVES, VINCENT DE WITT, CHRISTIAN WUNSCH, CARLOS RIOS, MAYLA, EXIUM, GLENN WILSON, GO HIYAMA, MONIKA KRUSE, OSCAR MULERO, PELACHA and REEKO.
