About Me

I am a computer geek, plain and simple. I program computers for a living, play with a bunch of technological toys, read computer books and magazines, use my Blackberry to check my e-mail and news. (Note to self: Need spam blocker for the Blackberry. I might have to write one.)Of course, that's not all I am. I have done some improv and acting. I've been involved in the writing of a computer book (which was only outdated a week before publication). I have ecclectic tastes in music and am a pretty decent cook.I am also madly in love with my wife, Liane, and love our puppy Dandy. I'll probably go on and on about them in my blog. ..

Nothing more miserable than a sick geek...

On Friday night, I was sick.  I mean REALLY sick.  I mean "I don't know which end to point to the toilet" sick.  It was a miserable night that was followed by a only slightly less miser...

The Geek Diet

I did it.  I lost a lot of weight in the past few months.  In fact, since August I have lost around 60 pounds (and am still losing).  I didn't get on any fancy Nutra-System, Weight Watc...

Introduction to a Geek

This is simply an introduction to me, an unabashed geek.  I started off my journey into computer geekhood in the public library in Claremont, NH when I was 12.  They had a TRS-80/Model III (...
