Bio:
Nathaniel Hosea Gonzales, aka Nate G, grew up like most teens in the urban community. Involved in a culture plagued with drugs, sex, and gang violence, Nate G found himself facing these obsticles as young juvenile growing up in San Jose, Ca. Nate G's first church experience was during the summer going into his freshman year at Piedmont Hills High School. Like many of young Christians who fall, Nate G did not read his Bible, therefore never growing spiritually, and believed reciting the "Sinner's Prayer" was enough to satisfy a loving GOD. Nate G soon found himself trapped again in the chains he once thought he was free of. After moving to the state of his birth, Texas, the seeds planted by Pastor Dick Bernel, of Jubilee Christian Center, and Brother IG, by way of a Christian rap song called "San Jo, San Jo," began growing as Nate G felt the Lord Jesus Christ tugging at his heart. In his senior year in high school, Nate G rededicated his life to Jesus. Having been influenced by hip hop growing up, Nate G began communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ by way of rap, releasing 3 short ablums locally. Nate G soon teamed up with an independant record label (Groovesound Records) based in Dallas, TX. Nate G spent the next 3 yrs ministering alongside national recording artists Lingo and Heata. Even though no longer apart of Groovesound Records, Nate G continues to preach the Gospel through Hip Hop.
Today, Nate G not only uses music to reach the lost, but also serves as an Assitant Youth Pastor at his church and is a member of Heata's Ministry Team. Nate G is preparing himself for the next level in his ministry by pursing a degree in Theology. Nate G has had the oppurtunity to minister alongside KJ-52, T-Bone, Bengie, Jontez, and Daystar Television Network's Eddie Cornado. Nate G has been featured on various nationwide albums and is currently working on his solo project "Rep Da Set" due out late 2007. Look for Nate G in your area, as he is presently touring alongside Heata.
