What it do Dallas! Its your boy Phillip aka Phildawg "The Incredible Youngsta" for the people who don't know me. I was born on in Killeen, Texas but then moved and was rasied in Oak Cliff (Dallas for you out-of-towners) at the age of 2. Growing up wasn't easy for me. I lived with my parents and my older sister Christina. Even though being the youngest isn't as great as everybody says it is, I used to have to fight just to get my voice heard. I guess when your young alot of people think your voice doesn't matter. Living in my neighborhood, I had alot of negative influence in my life. Even though I had a number of friends, 80% of them were living the gang life. Drugs and sex where their hobbies. Towards the age of 10, I started to turn into my friends. I never listened to that the saying 'Be careful who your friends are.' At the age of 13, I received a phone call from a person who wanted to invite me to church. At the time, I hated Chruch! Just the thought of being in one place for 3 hours bored me to death. That was definatly was the number one place I didnt want to be. But God had other plans for me. At the end of the phone call, I had agreed to go to church. After that day I gave my life to the Lord and I was no longer the same person. At the age of 15, I discovered that God had given me a special talent. The love of music. Thats when I started rapping and I have not put down the mic since. I had made a promise to God that I would only use this talent for him and him only. God has blessed me with so much in such a short time. My job now is to strive to give back to him as much as he has given me. Even though my life's not perfect and yes i make mistakes perhaps more than i should and many people are hard to forgive, I know it only means to god and god understands me and knows what's in my heart. To the people who don't know god I say it's about time you start to cause when i comes down to it you never know when your going to die "Tomorrow is not promise to no man" ya better get act right together, just telling the truth. Sometimes people only turn to god when something bad happens, I say don't let it come down to that, cause before you know your going to have go face to face with him. then what you got to say? aint no more excuses no more!
