Since day one this young woman has been driven and now more than ever she is driven to become the voice for all those within the struggle. Taking much pride in her beloved Hispanic heritage as well as work ethic and talent, Cio Babee has advanced to making dreams into a reality by becoming La Nueva Fiesta’s own midday on-air personality. Being her first professional, terrestrial radio position, her determination and pure love for the airwaves has allowed her to accomplish much in a short period of time. She quickly took reigns of her college radio station, WKRB, while making the most of internship opportunities for elite media majors such as NBC’s Mun2 Television and radio giant, Emmis Communications, home of Hot 97, 98.7 Kiss FM & CD101.9, now 101.9 RXP. Quickly ascending at Emmis from intern to promotions assistant to board operator in less than six months, this young go-getter understood the importance of networking within this industry, leaving her open to even greater opportunities. She now proudly calls WBON, La Nueva Fiesta her new home and is completely thrilled and filled with pride to be able to begin her new, exciting journey while serving and of course “gozando†with her fellow Latinos! Young, talented and beautiful, she remains humble and looks to a great future involving other media outlets as well as being hands on and deeply involved with community organizations and movements serving the betterment of urban communities. This is just the beginning for this young woman… that’s the best part of it all!!!
