I am here for Friends

About Me

My name is Alastair William Moulson Logan. Or Al if you'd prefer. I live in the medium sized town of Corsham, which sits somewhere between Bath and Chippenham, but I hope to move further into the country soon, as our town is becoming swamped by a growing chav underclass who pour out of the council estates at night like rats from the sewers.
I am interested in all things scientific, geographical and zoological, especially invertebrates, which I have my own(growing) collection of. I am also fascinated by tropical fish, particularly those resident in the amazon basin although at this moment I have no tanks set up. My empty 48" is ready for when I move out!
I am also a music fan, my favourite band is "Paradise Lost.br I play Warhammer regularly and have an interest in all things fantasy. Sci fi never really captured my imagination as much but "Red Dwarf" and "Stargate" are pretty good series. "Star Trek" however, sucks!
I'm not renowned for ever having any luck but I hope that one day everything will just work out fine!
I currently work for Ground Restoration Ltd, which is an environmental drilling company.

Movies:

Stargate, Interview with the Vampire and Gorillas in the Mist are probably my three favourite films.

ANATHEMA - FRAGILE DREAMS
Countless times I trusted you
I let you back in
Knowing... Yearning... you know
I should have run... but I stayed

Maybe I always knew
My fragile dreams would be broken for you

Today I introduced myself
To my own feelings
In silent agony after all these years

Maybe I always knew
My fragile dreams would be broken

Books:

"National Geographic" magazine deserves a mention for taking me to so many places I may never see with my own eyes, and also "New Scientist" for providing me with a vast array of facts to "impress" my friends with! Oh and "Classic Ford" for being full of cool cars. Yes I am aware that these are all magazines and not books.

Heroes:
