Lazy Days Recordings was founded in 2005 by Frédéric Blais (Fred Everything) and Mike Fresco (gotsoul, dub fu), as an artistic outlet to release quality true school house music. The first release Friday was a collaboration between Fred and the Australian collective 20for7, featuring the vocals of Vanessa Baker, and helped kick start the label to instant fame. Trentemoller reworked the track with a touch of his gritty deep electro energy, and helped the track cross over to the other side of electronica, attracting licences from DJ Magazine, Steve Lawler on Global Underground, Pete Tong, Amnesia Ibiza and more. The releases that followed have featured the extraordinary talents of Demarkus Lewis feat. Dani Deahl, Tortured Soul, Vincenzo Ragone, and Brett Johnson ft Dave Barker.
Lazy Days also hosts a monthly party on saturdays in Montreal @ Salon Daome with resident Fred Everything and special guests like JT Donaldson, Iz & Diz and many other friends .
