Are You Right or Left Brained?(word test)
personality tests by similarminds.comI am a happily married opera singer. I am notorious for not keeping up with my friends, all of whom I love and miss, so this is how I plan to turn that around. I sing, cook, read, and research topics that are of interest to me. My wife says I know too much about too many things and should focus in on a couple of things, but I think that's boring! I make wine, roast coffee, drink really expensive scotch and bourbon, and my car is always a disaster (Mighty Green Clitaurus...still...). I think Rafal Olbinski captures opera better than any recording, and I miss the sounds of my friends' voices. I love candlelight, hate incandescent and fluorescent light, and believe in the power of the lottery. Spring and Fall are my favorite seasons, but Winter is peaceful and Summer is intoxicating. More and more I am viewing myself from the outside than the inside, and I am trying to correct more of what people see than what I am actually portraying. I am travelling more without being so hung up on arriving at the destination. I love food, love to barbecue, and love to feed people. I love music and musicians, and hate the pain I see when they struggle because of money and have to give it up. I miss sacred music: it is my sermon. I stand in awe of natural beauty as I get older. I cry more than I used to (but I'd never admit it to anyone in person). I love conducting, but seldom get the chance. I can fly a plane, skydive, sail a boat, bungee jump, climb rocks, scuba dive, and lie in a hammock and fall asleep. I love to camp, and adore the outdoors. I am a Seventh-Generation Texan, I miss Con Can and yes, even the Brevard terrain. I am a recovering man-whore. I believe in the One, true Living God, but you can communicate to Him via your preffered method of communication or prophet. I love my Kiri and Taylor, and miss Tosca, Gwendolyn, and Jessye a lot and wonder if they've gone to doggy heaven. I am called a snob, arrogant, and elitist, but I'm also told that once a person gets past the wall, I have a heart of gold. I'm hard to read, but if you ask me a question, I'll give you my answer, how I see it, whether you like it or not. I love nice clothes. I also love a white t-shirt and shorts. I try and make the most of every day, and I continue to give up my regrets, because it holds me back from the future. Above all, I am loved, and thankful for it.

Music:

I listen, of course to Opera, Art Song Composers, and current Classical artists who don't give me a headache. There is actually very little I don't listen to. My iPod is full of all manner of music and musician, from Ellis Paul to System of a Down, Chemical Brothers to Alan Jackson, NWA to Orbital and some Ozzy thrown in for good measure. Tesla, Rush, Clash, Pogues...the list is truly endless. I don't listen to boy bands, and most of the pop-ish crap after 1999. Oh well, lines must be drawn somewhere, I guess.

Movies:

Again, very little I don't view. I am an AMC and TCM buff, so I dig older movies. I also enjoy indie flicks. I guess the last movie I saw in a theater was Hairy Pooter. I pretty much lack the motivation to go to movies any more because I can own them for the money spent on movie and popcorn...bloody sucks, eh? That told, I possess and ever-growing collection of movies.
