I am a eighth generation native of north Georgia. All of my family is from Dalton. I grew up in Ellijay.I play trumpet and I am a conductor/music director. I am a proud alumnus of Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps '91. Before I graduated college, I became a choral director in the government school system. I didn't learn my lesson from that experience and became a high school band director in North Georgia.After some soul searching, I retired from teaching and began music directing for several theatre companies around Atlanta and finally settled as Music Director/Conductor/General Manager/etc. with Capital City Opera. I learned a tremendous amount while serving CCO, made some great friends, a few enemies, lots of mistakes, and more improvements.My experiences have offered me the necessary skills and honor of becoming one of the founding members of Atlanta's newest and best producers of operatic arts, OperaSouth.As for the ENTP thing: that is my classification under the Myers Briggs typology.
