Since 1999 Jack McDevitt has been securing himself as one of the top DJs in the Northeast. Having started at Limelight in New York Jack found himself in the right place at the right time. He kept playing various clubs in New York before joining Volume Productions in early 2000 opening the door to the rave scene to Jack. He knew that the scene had mostly peaked by this point, but the energy he found there was mesmerizing.
His style of progressive house helped him fit in, but he still found the sound of breaks to be his main focal point. Jack along other New England DJs like MO7S and Melee pushed breaks to the fore front, forcing it on the main floors of many sound systems across the Northeast, and from Coast to Coast.
In 2001 he moved back home to ManchVegas and found allegiance with his buddies from Fortune 500. They helped him push himself more, and showed him the other side of the coin. Jack McDevitt can push the envelope in sets varying from one to 8 hours without breaking a sweat.
A proud member of the 6 Foot DJ Crew and Volume Productions Jack has played along side Josh Wink, Andy C, Little Louie Vega, DJ Craze, Rap, Bad Boy Bill and 2 Live Crew to just name a few.
Having now played over 300 parties and holding residencies at Energy(Providence), Tension(Wednesdays) and BPM(Saturdays) Jack has developed a style all his own. With rolling bass-lines and tech influenced funk Jack carved his niche.
