To keep the culture alive via education and communication. To put an end to racism and discrimination. To unify all Spanish Speaking People so that we may get the respect that is rightfully ours. To use music as a means to cross barriers through workshops and presentations. These workshops will consist of the History of the Rhythms stemming from Africa, the Caribbean Islands, Central and South America, and the final transition to the states. The rhythms that I use will be demonstrated in their most traditional forms, I will focus on their evolution and transition. Topics I cover are as follows:Ritmos Africano, Ritmos Cubano, Merengue, The Evolution of Salsa here and in Puerto Rico. Homenajes to the Pioneers of Latin Music.
