Tarbox Ramblers

I Enjoy Combing My Hair

About Me

formed band TR in '90s; influences the ghosts of US primitive landscape: graveyard gospel, trance sounds, sweet melodies chronicling confusions in love. affectionate resonance of stringband. secret affiliation with english balladry, fascination with sinners for whom no god is enough. flat-affect chronicles recant lostness and chaos in the rural states. murder tales play a role.

band changes, road tolls souls. turning from backwater refrain, patton says go it's OK. new strains unabashed brazen. shows with southern boys mcewen / bass, cosenza / drumkit. new thing! softer sound, try to reconcile with darker anarchist guitar scene. secret flourishing, voices multiply. songs: comedies, simple hymns, blues bidding goodbye adieu at least for now...
