I Don't See You Haters, So Lets Go Get This Paper

About Me

It takes more than just talent to make great instrumentals. An instrumental is more than just a snare, a sample and a baseline. Its the most important part of a song. It creates a picture and provides the feeling for singers and MC's. Without an instrumental (beat) for the song, lyrics seem lifeless. This is just something that I (Dashon Maverick) have learned in the past two years making music with my fellow up and coming producers Young Shev, Johnnie Jones and Melo-D. We have created a sound together that is unlike any other in the music business. Usually producers tend to make music to support a region, but we are trying to break the mold. With Shev's Houston, Texas background and Johnnie's Louisiana heritage the music that is made has no regional label. Not to mention Jacksons (Melo-D) New Jersey mind set and my Carolina Boy attitude.
Music is something that we collectively have always loved, but we didn't always have aspirations of being music producers. We met on Langley Air Force Base Virginia, in the summer of 2004. While on the internet Shev and Johnnie stumbled over a music program that would eventually change our lives. At first the beat sounded simple and armature, then we began to get a grasp on the basics. Once we learned the basics we began to create better instrumentals.
By the time we were in our fifth month creating beats we had figured out everything we needed to know. Now was the time to get our instrumentals off of our computer and in to the ears of DJ's and Local rappers. South Carolina DJ, DJ Chuck T, was the first person to help channel our beats across the east coast, all the way to Texas. With the help of the spokesman, Johnnie Jones we have sold our first beat to Trae, Paul Wall, and Three Six mafia. Look for the song entitled Cadillac in the near Future.
Its crazy to think that we just started a year ago, but like Melo says, things happen for a reason. We started from scratch and have begun to create chemistry. Hopefully people can here our music in the future.
These are some of the mixtapes that we have production on. Also a Big Shout Out to DJ Chuck T, DJ Whoo Kidd, Trae', 36 Mafia, Paul Wall, Chris J, G-Mabb, Noise Mob and Hot 97!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
