From Texas to Florida... Unsigned Hype is definitely building a hype in Duval these days. Born and raised in East Texas, Hype began making music at the young age of 10 with peers that he went to school with. While growing up doing music, some of his strongest influences were Bone Thugs n Harmony which taught Hype the art of twisting, while shows and talent contests got his stage presence down to an art form.Once in his teens, Hype was a force to be reckoned with. Staying on the scene with radio play in Texas, his local fan base was strongly behind him for his free style battle on a Blazin the Band contest where he came in as the 1st runner up. At this point of building his buzz in Texas, Hype was ready to move to another level with his music, which lead him to Florida.When first arriving in Jacksonville, FL one of the first people Hype came in contact with was, Dirty Redd. Redd owned a in home studio where they could have easy access to record when ever they like. From there began a journey into a beautiful blend with Hype and Redd's music. In the studio for days at a time working together to lay down Hype's and Redd's first album "Money Power Respect" which consists of 16 blazing tracks.With their music high in demand still pushing Cd's in the streets has motivated Hype to get his buzz moving. In the near future Hype is going to be laying down his first solo project "Believe the Hype" which provides more uncut work from Hype, and also special features from some of the artist in Duval.
