About Me

Bands: The Lovebeads, GRASP, The Dublin Blues Breakers. I started playing bass in 1988 with a band called "The Lovebeads". During that time, I became a big fan of a brilliant band called "Earthwood". 2 years later I moved to Colorado. While I was living there I got an offer to play bass with Earthwood, so I moved back to Dublin. The band changed its name to GRASP and I stayed with them for 4 years playing Grafton Street almost every day to earn a living and gigging various venues around Dublin - loved every minute of it and I still play with them when I go home to Dublin sometimes. In recent years I have played bass and banjo with a number of different bands, all built around a group of great musicans and friends. Including "the Prescriptions", "Redwood","Grasp", Justin Corr, Phil Clarke and Shay Cosgrave. I now Live in Denmark with my wife and get regular visits from the afore mentioned criminals. We now have an annual appearence at the Aalborg Jazz and Blues festival as "The Dublin Blues Breakers", which is a great sucess. I love oldstyle country rock and bluegrass. I love to sing lead but I love it even more when I get to sing a harmony with a good singer.
I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !
