Formed by RuairÃ, Phil and Jonathan, in 2002 to play good ol' roots americana music, and joined in 2004 by the rythmn section of Owen and shay, redwood have been gigging regularly in ireland ever since. The gigs have been well recieved by a wide range of audiences. Their music is based on the a blend of acoustic sounds (including banjo, mandolin & harmonica) and driving electric guitars. Redwood play music that spans the genres of country, folk, rock and blues, with songs by artists as diverse as Johnny Cash, Nick Cave and JJ Cale. A good night guaranteed for all !!!!
