Subside began in 1999, singing about a modern world which they don't understand and are somewhat angry about. A gripping and energetic blend of punkrock and hardcore gives the common trends the middle finger and removes themselves from the mass of bad, plagiaristic core bands. They prefer a modern sound mixed an old school spirit. Their songs are in German and English and include a proper dosage of sarcastic fault-finding and railing against that will make one's ears bleed but without platitudes and cliches. Their sharp stage show unleashes unbelievable power which brings even the lowest dives to a boil!
