Heavy Metal (all genres - favourite bands include Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Deicide, AC/DC, Left Hand Solution, In Flames, Sentenced, Marduk, Immortal, Wintersun, Finntroll, Amorphis, Metallica, Dark Throne, Satyricon, Entombed, Motorhead, Hammerfall, Grave Digger, and loads of others...I also listen to the occasional folk album, some 70's and 80's rock, and other styles in very small doses.I also play keyboards in two bands - Dissension and The Metatron.
I like horror films, sci-fi stuff, the occasional comedy, some action, fantasy films (if porn counts as fantasy - hell yeah it's all good people ;)).I'm a big fan of the Friday the 13th series, the original Jaws, the early star wars films, the Alien and Predator sagas, and more!
I don't watch a lot of tv, but I like shows like Dr.Who, Red Dwarf, The Young ones, Bottom, and any DECENT metal show - which sadly, doesn't seem to exist anymore...
Horror stuff - from classics like Frankenstein, Dracula, et al - to modern stuff like the works of Stephen King, Richard Laymon, John Tigges, Gary BrandnerAlso I like the occasional sci-fi novel, fantasy stuff (esp. dark or Gothic fantasy), poetry, historical stuff (mythology esp. Greek, Celtic and Viking myth),
Probably musical icons - Tony Iommi, Ronnie James Dio, Tony Martin and Geoff Nicholls (Black Sabbath), Bruce Dickinson and Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) Shagrath , ICS Vortex and Mustis (Dimmu Borgir), Jon Lord (ex-Deep Purple), Angus Young (AC/DC), and Wintersun (all amazing musicians).All of these people/bands have had an influence on my musical career, and I expect they will continue to do so for many a year to come...
