Well...
I am a woman. I live in Canberra. I am moving to Melbourne in February (possibly sooner). I live for music. I breathe, think and talk. And work way too much. And do other things.
I like having fun with mates, headbanging, performing on stage, winning at the two stein challenge, drinking too many tasty beers, singing to Nevermore in the shower, 70's and 80's horror movies, my pet cockatiels Warrel and Anubis, duct taping my face into horrible positions, chasing butterflies and a plethora of other less important activities.
I don't like air poos, spiders or snappers.
As I previously mentioned, music is pretty much what I live for. I've been involved with several Australian Metal acts over the years, the most noteworthy being Aeturnus Dominion (www.myspace.com/aeturnusdominion), Diamorah (www.myspace.com/diamorahmetal) and The Metatron (www.myspace.com/themetatronband). I'm currently working solo on an acoustic/black project called Orannis. Myspace and songs will be up shortly.
I will also be looking for a melbourne act to start/join come my imminent move (sooner for the right band). My stats are as follows;
Vocalist - (Heavy) Predominantly a mix of Black and Death, have been screaming for close to 6 years now. Main influences include Wormed, Dimmu Borgir, Dissension, Agalloch and Mnemic.
(Clean) Mid-range with a versatile style. Can pull off dirty rock, chillout, gothic and operatic. Main influences include Nevermore, The Butterfly Effect, Emma Shapplin, Agalloch, Katatonia, My Dying Bride, Sarah Blasko and Tarja Turunen.
(Lyrical content) Predominantly space, fantasy or religion based, although I enjoy writing about a lot of different themes.
Guitarist - Have been playing on and off for about 6 years, predominantly an acoustic writer.
Bassist - Have been playing consistently for 2 years.
Keyboardist/Pianist - Have been playing Keys on and off for 12 years. Main writing styles include classical, ballads, experimental, black metal, gothic and folk.
