Lessee, I like music, harps, books, cats(well, my cat. I don't know about your cat...), sewing, medieval fashion, making chain mail, long hair and the growing thereof. Night Time. Warmth. Comfort. Hanging out with people I care about. Writing.
Maybe not meet, but have back again: My big brother, who died way the hell before his time. I'd like to meet the people responsible for the clusterfuck surrounding it, actually. I have a few choice words for them. (Okay, more than a few)
Other than that:
poets, artists, musicians, philosophers, the odd and the deranged, those who might understand where I'm coming from, and those who have unique perspectives..... anybody worth a damn, really.
Nadjia is my definate #1, and Dommin, Evaescence, and I:Scintilla are probably tied for #2 on my list of favorite bands... Also on my top list is Loreena McKennitt, 10 Years, and random harp music I've collected. I like many kinds of music, industrial, rock, metal(as long as the 'vocalist' doesn't sound like he's belching into the microphone or really horribly constipated), classical, celtic, new age, gothic... I've even been known to enjoy a rap song or two. Tis rare, but has happened.
I'm not too much of a movie watcher, but I must say I can't get enough of The Phantom Of The Opera, or The Princess Bride. Underworld and its sequel were pretty good. I liked the Matrix trilogy. Admittedly, the second two weren't as good, but still. Keanu Reeves. Need I say more? Dark themes, creepy themes... I dislike most slasher movies(I'm paranoid enough as it is).. although I can be convinced to watch a true horror movie every once in a while. I liked the Exorcist. The Ring gave me nightmares. *shrugs* I know, it doesn't make much sense. Personal preferences don't have to.
Useless. Well, if You Tube counts, then that. otherwise, useless.
I wonder if online serials count? Tales of MU anyway, since it's one of the best stories I've read, and I'm not sure if that's because or inspite of the fact that it's an online serial. For print novels: The Wheel Of Time, by Robert Jordan(my current obession, thanks to Gothic Metal), The Heralds Of Valdemar, a series by Mercedes Lackey, Anything by David Eddings, pretty much, lots Of fantasy stuff.
My big brother, SPC Steven Fitzmorris (R.I.P). Not only a hero to me... He was a hero to the entire fucking country, and DON'T YOU FORGET IT.
Anyone who's been able to make a success of music.
The guy who invented yarn.
My mother (hell, she didn't kill me, she's got to be a superhero)
