As you guys have heard or seen on ATN Television, Mustafa jan and I recently made a trip to our lovely Country, Afghanistan after 20 years. First most, we would like to Thank Ariana TV and Engineer Ehsanullah Bayat, CEO of ATN for inviting us to Afghanistan and giving us the opportunity to see our lovely people and Watan. Many thanks to our dear friend and manager (NY and NJ) Yahya jaan Nassiry, the person who stood by us from day one when the trip was planned to the end and gave us every hope and strength to make our decisions easier. After all, he took time away from his family and very busy schedule to travel with us to Afghanistan so that we could have a safer trip. Thanks again Yahya jaan. Last but not least the strongest love and support have always come from my beautiful wife Simin jan Jalali and my two precious kids. Without them and the guidance of Allah my music career would not be as successful as it is. I am very thankful of Allah to give me such a precious family. The beauty and Euphoria of Music is much needed in Afghanistan after all the years of war and psychological trauma to the people. We believe that we touched and excited many of our people and have instilled some happiness within their hearts! That is amazing. We truly believe that us privileged Afghans are here in the U.S for a reason. We are here to gain a skill/talent and build our lives here so that we can go back to our homeland and share the knowledge and wealth with the underprivileged people of our country. As to the dear musicians who accompanied us, We would like thank Haris Nuri, a very talented keyboard player who is born in Germany and accompanied us in Afghanistan for the first time. We am very proud of you Haris jaan. It was an honor to perform with the following musicians/Ustads; Ustad Wali (tabla), Ustad Hanif (Harmuniam), Ustad Ezmarai (Saxophone), Toryalai (flute), Khalid (Robab), Mehdi (drums, percussion), Shikab Daliri, and last but not least Gholam (Dole). There is no word that can describe our feelings and appreciations to you’re greatnesses. Thank you sirs. Aside music, We had the best opportunity to meet all of the Ariana family and be a guest in their wonderful shows such as “Viewers Choice†with Fawad jan and Naheed jan, “Sitarahaye Rangeen†with Mirwaice jaan, “As Honar Ta Honarmand†with Latif jan Mahmood, and many more. Hope you guys enjoyed watching them. Well Timor jaan and I could write at least ten or more pages about our experiences in Afghanistan, but we will try to cut it short. All we can tell you is that there is no better place than your homeland. At a very early stage of our music we are proud to be Afghan and serve our country and fellow Afghan brothers and Sisters inside and outside of Afghanistan with our music talents. We are once again honored with such invitation and strong support by most respected Engineer Ehasanullah Bayat and want to end our short message by noting that going back to our lovely country, Afghanistan and performing live concerts in front of my dear people is by far the greatest Highlight of our music career.
