Lights, Camera, Fashion....SuLo Fashion!

It's a major part of life. It's the way that you live. What you wear expresses who you are. A great deal of our fashion is influenced by everything around us. Only a small number of people take the thoughts inside their head and create their own art. They are the ones who become the fashion designers. Sultana Lodin, Fashion designer of SuLo, and Fashion Director of SiTara Magazine, is one of these people. Her ingenious mind helped her to become an amazing fashion designer. Sultana being an Afghan American always wanted to use her culture with her future career of becoming a fashion designer.

At age 17, Sultana Lodin entered the world of fashion at Fashion Center of Los Angeles. She was taught by well known instructors in the fashion industry where she left an educated fashion designer.

In her last year instructors encouraged her to submit her designs for the Cal Mart Fashion Show in LA. Out of 100 students in California she became number one. She received first place in Fantasy at the Cal-Mart Fashion show in 2005. Sultana's first collection for Men is called the A-Collection. This couture T -shirt line was first introduced to New York March 22nd at Flushing Town Hall, then to California on April 20th with Afghan Pop singer Valy Hedjasi at Pleasanton Fairgrounds.
