I was born in Idaho, and given the name, Stephen Giles Kircher, (but nobody could pronounce my middle name, so I changed it to Stephen Jylz Kircher). I played in several bands over the years, such as, "The Dirty Nickel Band", "Midnight Sun", "The Press", "Revolver", "Relayer", "Drivin Sidewayz", "Kid Liberty", and am currently workin' with Loren Arly Kuhl in the duo, "ARLY-JYLZ". I am also writing with the infamous, Shawn Brown, formerly of Kid Liberty, in an as of yet, unnamed group. We record at my little studio hidden in North Pole, Alaska. It is a small 48 track digital studio, that I salvaged from my partnership with CMS Productions. I collect guitars, violins, basses, ukuleles and just about every kind of instrument I can get my hands on. I try to use all of them whenever I can when I record. I am into photography. I mostly do landscapes, but the camera is with me all of the time, so just about anything is fair game for getting into the shot. I play Ibanez, Parker, Takamine, ESP, Ovation Guitars, through Peavey JSX and XXL heads and a Marshall Plexi head through Marshall 4 by 12 and 2 by 12 cabinets. Violins include 2 DAL Luthier GV Ultra 5 string violins, as well as several Meisel four string violins. I also play a Concord Alta four string electric violin. Many Boss pedals including a GT5 and GT8 multi effects processors. I have a Dobro, and I actually have an Accordian, as well as several Mele Ukuleles from Maui. Everything is recorded on Roland VSR880s through a Roland VM7200, 94 channel mixer in my secret 48 track studio, hidden in North Pole, Alaska.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
