About Me

I'm Sorry that I moved to the armpit of Colorado Colorado Springs and look forward to the day I can leave. I was born in Cali and raised In a Shaker house in rural Mass where we would race around in field cars and I would play poker with my buddies for fun. We had morgan horses so I was riding at a young age and took up making Shaker furniture and have been woodworking ever since.My favorite place to live was Montreal where I became good friends with a jazz singer who knew alot of the jazz greats from her time in New York and would intruduce me to them when they were in town. Three bro's and one sis. I'm in the middle. I love animals, camping and music, mostly blues, jazz and old country when you could tell who you were listening to. The twangy working class hero redneck(Toby Kieth)type stuff is getting old.

My Interests

My main interest is camping, but not at campgrounds, I like to explore and find secluded areas, you can do that in Colorado. I love the whole experience, from cooking breakfast on a cast iron skillet then hiking around, looking for and listening to the birds and other critters and at dusk getting a little blazer going putting a tape of old blues or classic country in the cd player, because that music fits the experience best, and cracking open a cold beer.I'm also a woodworker and love to make things, particularly when I'm getting paid. I enjoy traveling but have'nt had the chance for awhile.

I'd like to meet:

Free thinkers who aren't swayed by trends or the media, also Lyle Lovett, Willie Nelson, Paul Ruebens as Pee Wee Herman, Larry the cable guy, Sam Elliott, Judge Judy so I could tell her to fucking relax and I would love the opportunity to heckle Howard Dean and John Kerry at the same venue until they have to call security.

Music:

I really don't know new music. I guess I could say, The Gipsy Kings, Eric Clapton, G Love and Special Sauce, Santana, Jacques Loussier, Allison Krouse,Lyle Lovett, Mose Allison, Eminem, Van Morrison, Los Lonely boys, Beck, Bob Dylan, The Chieftens, Willie Nelson, Dave Mathews, Harry Connick Jr, Brian Setzer,Vince Gill, George Strait, Dwight Yokum, Andrea Bocelli, Marty Robbins, Tom Waits, Bonnie Raitt, Gordon Lightfoot,Taj Mahal,Sons of the pioneers, Burl Ives,Bach and watch out for a new young talent Elliott Yamin.

Movies:

I don't care for most of the crap coming out of Hollywood, but enjoy a good off the wall comedy. Kubrick, Spielberg, Tom Hanks, John Wayne's sixties and seventies movies, Clint Eastwood. Some indie films.

Television:

I enjoy some of the cable reality stuff where they have people plying their trades, American Chopper type of shows. I like Mail Call I still have'nt burnt out on Sienfeld yet and I love sports, nature programs are good.

Books:

I don't read as much as I should. The last book I read was Band of Brothers.

Heroes:

All wealthy Philanthropists that create jobs and give enormous amounts of money to help try to wipe out poverty and disease, Jesus, Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul, and my parents.
