About Me

Me. Hmmm. Complex subject, I reckon. I am a dynamic figure, often seen scaling walls and crushing ice. I have a great personality which contains a wacky yet witty sense of humor and a dirty mind. I am a pop culture fiend - my brain is wired to remember useless stuff, but not necessarily the stuff that will get me through life, unless life is one giant Trivial Pursuit game. I'm the world's biggest Tony Bennett dork. I can name that song in two notes. I can be very stubborn - rather, *persistent* - at times. According to Derek, I have the 'hookup' on the awesome coffee drinks in town (chai is the BEST, though). All your base are belong to me. I am a freak magnet. I should have been a therapist. And for the record, I *am* cool. :)

My Interests

Photography; reading; listening to music; "discovering" cool new live bands; cooking; crafty/creative projects; chatting online with random people

I'd like to meet:

Tony Bennett. He is the MAN. Brings me to tears with that beautiful voice.MySpacewise, I'm open to meeting anyone on here, just about, unless you're a guy trolling for nookie. I'd love to find some femme fatales with whom to have some girls' nights. If you want to add me to your friend list, please... send me an e-mail or something first. Now, if you're talkin' guywise... I've got a laundry list of stuff I look for in a guy, but they're not all required. Here are some of the qualities I like: good personality, great sense of humor, creativity, thoughtfulness, respectfulness, attractiveness, intelligence, and appreciation for the little things in life. A Catholic guy would be a real bonus. It'd be nice to find someone willing to go out for a nice dinner now and then, but I'm easy to please in the date department, so even coffee and good conversation is OK with me. I think John Mayer said it best: "If you want to know the way to my heart...good spelling and good grammar, good punctuation, capitalize only where you are supposed to capitalize, it's done." I dig guys who take the time to spell out "you" and "are". And fellas, if you're interested, do me and all other women a favor, and SHOW it somehow. Don't just say you're interested. Walk the walk, y'know?

Remember - it comes from within...

Had a reality check today... I won't go into details, but it seems as though I come across as desperate in my attempts to date.  I wasn't aware of that.  But I guess my ongoing quest to fin...

A good idea for dates...

Don't you sometimes wish there were exit interviews for dates?  Then your date could tell you what you did wrong so you'd know not to do it the next time, and vice versa.

The most annoying question to me as a single woman...

That would be "why is a cute girl like you single," or any incarnation of that thought.  Two people posed that question to me today - one was a random MySpacer, and one was the receptionist at wo...
