About Me

THE STORY

The band was originally formed in 2002 within a tiny, cluttered studio in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. From day one there was an undeniable chemistry that synthesized cohesive rhythms and fierce melodies. Toby (guitar/vocals) spent many weekends commuting to Ft.Walton Beach from Tallahassee, to write and record with Mark (drums). The band eventually relocated to Tallahassee in late 2003.

The band has played shows, to growing audiences, across the Florida panhandle and has begun to find its following in the indie-rock enclaves of the south. With the recent addition of bassist Jake Asbell and the support of a handful of entrepreneurial-minded fans, this trio finds itself dangerously close to a full-lenghth release. A short run of grOund's self-produced three song e.p. was printed in early 2006 and a dwindling supply of the discs are still available at the bands shows.
