The Yorkshire Drummer

Hi folks
Im the drummer from scottish iron maiden tribute band "Maiden Scotland". i happen to be english but as my grandad was from Durham i get away with it. I'll be updating this all soon as it changes from the ex site of the uni's music society to my own site.

This once belonged to the LMS at stirling uni but as they were told by the union to fuck right off i've nicked the space for myself. thanks to the powers that be in Stirling University Students Association we have had all ties cut (by a vote of 4 to 2, representative huh?) and all our money taken away
Background
Back in the 70's stirling uni was known throughout the land as a great venue for up and coming bands indeed the who and queen have played at the uni but this all came to an end in 1998 when the live music society (Maisies) was booted off campus without being given a reason. this was the origin of the phrase "man-ton'd".

In 2004 a new music society rose from the ashes and went on to create a thriving society that put on many gigs in the student union that was well recieved by students and locaqls that had been crying out for such a scene. big things were planned but we were once more man-ton'd and after a row about students being grown up (a view not shared by certain members of SUSA) we were once more thrown out of the union.
