After years of playing, recording in traveling, we have decided to retire MudFlap. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us through the years. We will be finishing all of our dates that we already have booked.
In the near future this page will be dedicated to everyone who has played in MudFlap through the years. I will be posting songs from all three of our CD's, as well as the pictures and names of all the good folks that have jammed with us, as well as the bands that the four of us will be jamming in.
From now on, this will be a tribute page for a band that has brought us alot of joy and frustration.
We would like to thank everyone for a wonderful ten years.
Established in 1997 in Dallas, Texas, MudFlap is a good ol' stoner rock band that is a force to be reckoned with. From slow and bluesy to up beat, MudFlap's sound can only be described as unique. MudFlap is heavy rock and roll mixed with polyrhythms and an obvious southern influence. With a high energy non-stop live show, MudFlap has their crowds movin' and the drinks flowin'. MudFlap attracts people of all ages and sexes with their high energy, southern groove.
MudFlap has written songs, shot videos and is a regular feature on Professional Championship Wrestling as seen on UPN. MudFlap is also a common feature on X-treme Motion as seen on CBS and UPN. With a relentless schedule and constant self promotion, MudFlap has made loyal fans all over the southern region of the United States. MudFlap has songs played in regular rotation on several southern radio stations. MudFlap works very hard and strives to be the hardest working band in the southern United States. MudFlap recorded their first, self titled CD with Sterling Winfield, who has worked with Pantera, David Allen Coe, and Mercyful Fate to name a few. MudFlap has plans to record their new CD with Braxton Henry, who has produced several nationally recognized albums which includes A Dozen Furies. MudFlap always works hard to take it to the next level. Texas proud, you can rest assure that MudFlap will stand the test of time.
MudFlap has opened for, Slayer, Killswitch Engage, Stain'd, Dope, Mastodon, Drowning Pool, Opeth, Lacuna Coil, Twisted Method, and Motograter.
