I'd like to meet:
I'm not much on celebrities. I worked as a valet for 4 months too long for the stars. When I realized that I was opening doors for my gf's dad's former girlfriends I knew I had to get a new gig. However, I do enjoy meeting actors, but most of them aren't on the cover of GQ: Peter Sarsguard, Billy Crudup, Giovanni Ribisi, Edward Norton; and I would be a childhood dream to meet Tommy C someday.
Music:
I could never settle on one style or even a couple. Once I drop in the song and I become effected, at that point I'll know how much the song will mean to me. I get pretty crazy with music though. Once I find my flavor of the month, I will play it until there is a hole in the CD. But there is no substitute for 80s hair bands!: Bon Jovi, Guns and Roses, Van Halen, Scorpian, Def Lepard, Poison, Motle Crue, and....onto the lighter Jack Johnson, Bob Marley, Transfere, even Elton John. Catch Resident Hero this Fall in LA!!! Just get out of its way and it will take you right where you are suppose to go.
Movies:
They tend to change over the years, but the great works are never forgotten. I still love Good Will Hunting, Almost Famous, and Requiem for a Dream. The newer favorites would be Garden State, Life as a House (My baby's help),Crash, and Hotel Rwanda. Anything with Willy Ferrel, most of Tom's flicks, and most comedy's I come across; except Napolean Dynamite. I don't care how fun it is to quote that movie, I thought I was going to have an Aneurism when I was watching it.
Television:
I can't believe it took me so long to get into it, but I found it none the less. CSI, I am jealous of ever friend whose been on it :( Alias is another favorite, but I am pretty dissapointed with the newer episodes. Classics: the Simpsons, South Park, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Okay ATHF is kinda new, but it has entered my rotation as if it was a classic. FAMILY GUY IS BACK BABY!!
Books:
Illusions: Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah, The Power of Now, The Artist's Way, Respect for Acting AND WHO COULD LEAVE OUT H. POT!, CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF IT
Heroes:
My Dad is Superman, still completing Triathlons in his mid forties while still maintaining a job and supporting his boys through school. My mom could be considered elasticgirl (The incredibles) with a PHD. But Mom says that I don't have to call her Doc if I don't want to. My new hero is Dave, my former little brother who now has about 15 lbs of muscle over me. Its okay, he still has to be good to his big brother or I'll take away his spot on the couch when her comes to LA :) I respect actors, but I can't call them heroes. They still can't believe they get paid for what they do, why wouldn't they it is the feeling like know other to be respected by your peers for your acting. Heros are men like Bono of U2, Brad Pitt and the celebrities who have bonded together to create a foundation to help make poverty history.
