It's time to prove to your friends that you're worth a damn. Sometimes that means dying, sometimes i

About Me

I graduated from University of Colorado at Boulder in 2001 with a philosophy degree. That means I think a lot about the lack of jobs that I can get with that degree. I am fun and always upbeat. I work out a lot and really enjoy boxing and mixed martial arts. I played rugby in college and have a large physic. During the weekends I ride the bull at the Saddle Ranch on Sunset, mainly because I like looking like an idiot in front of people and making all of my friends laugh even at the expense of my health. At times I pretend that I am a superhero, like when steam is coming off of me after the shower...I could be the Human Torch. Stuff like that makes me special, or so my mom tells me. I am moving to NYC to try to get into the whole PR thing, wish me luck. I am totally open to options at this point. I am easy going and relaxed, though very passionate when it comes to things that are important in life. I am a die hard romantic as I was raised mainly by my mother. My father is a minister in an Episcipal Chuch in Clolrado. Give the big guy a shot!I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

movies, fun with friends, boxing, mixed martial arts, stand up comedy, rugby, watching all sports, funloving gals, interesting peps, hip-hop and rap, travel, taking all of life's trials and tribulations and then overcoming them.

I'd like to meet:

Good hearted and good natured people. If you can make somebody's day just that much better, you rock. Plus you need to live life a little, like you don't know if you will see tomorrow. So if you are interesting, shoot me a line. Oh, and you should like pudding. Chocolate preferably.

Music:

Eminem, Swollen Members, Foo Fighters, Scottish Bagpipes, Jay-Z, Linkin Park, Bach, DMX, THE BEASTIES, J5, Marc Broussard, Kanye, My Chemical Romance, Audioslave, John Mayer, Celtic Music, Whale Songs.

Movies:

Being a movie nerd I have catagories: ACTION-Sin City was FRIGGIN AWESOME!!! Die Hard, Top Gun, Predator, True Lies, Fight Club, Seven, The Rundown DRAMA-Braveheart, Magnolia, Lost in Translation, Donnie Darko, American History X, American Psyco, Memento, History of Violence FOREIGN-Battle Royale, Spirited Away, Pincess Mononoke COMEDY-Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy (the only true love story of the era), South Park:Bigger Longer and Uncut, Van Wilder, Old School, Swingers ROMANTIC-Jerry Maguire, Shakespeare in Love, About a Boy KIDS-All Harry Potter movies, Toy Story, Emperor's New Groove SCI-FI-LOTR Trilogy, Matrix Trilogy, Army of Darkness

Television:

I want to be on the crew list for Firefly. I hold a special feeling for that show, I heart it! Other than that the majority of the shows that I watch are animated: Simpsons, South Park, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman, Family Guy, and American Dad. Though I do like the occational live show: Scrubs, Arrested Development, The Sopranos, Deadwood, Curb Your Enthusiasm, LOST (Blair said it best "if that show was a woman, i would want to have sex with it RIGHT NOW!"). I love Heros...but it just gives me hope that I will soon develop my own super powers. I have a new found love for Battlestar Galactica. Also I have a love for Tricia Helfer...that woman is darn near perfect.
You are Frylock! Probably the only person with
brains, your tough and smart. You kick some
serious ass.

Books:

All time favs are Dante's Inferno and Goethe's Faust. I really like The Art of War and I read a lot about The Holocaust and World War II. I feel that we need to learn as much as we can about that event as to ensure not repeating the darkest parts of history. I also read a lot of grafic novels (long comic books to the layperson) like Kingdom Come, Marvels, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and the like. Identity Crisis was brilliant and Wanted is probably the greatest comic EVER. Hunter Killer is the shizzie. Civil War makes great points about social-economic ideals in the US. Also...I mourn the loss of Kon-El, aka Superboy. The good comics just keep coming.

Heroes:

Mostly my grandfather who is a retired FBI agent. I also greatly admire my best friend Zach. He changed my life in the 10th grade and has made it better everyday since then. Blair makes me realize that I am better than I think I am while making me laugh. As far as comic heros I looked up to Spider-man long before it was tre-chic. He is often looked at as a villian by the society and continues to do the right thing despite the lack of appreciation. I would like to think that I would do the same in that position. And there are few people who leave an impression on you like Brodie from Mallrats. He is all that you could hope for in a person! King Leonidas, the baddest MOFO of history.
