I am here for Friends

About Me

A solitary person is one which is not usually in the companionship of others of its type. Solitary activities are those which do not require (or indeed preclude) the presence of others, such as walking, listening to music, cooking or painting. Those who find renewed personal vigor through engaging in solitary activities are often referred to as introverts; as opposed to extroverts, who find renewed vigor is more likely to follow engagement in activities based upon interpersonal contact Short-term solitude is often valued as a time when one may work, think or rest without being disturbed.Long-term solitude is often seen as undesirable, causing loneliness or reclusion, resulting from inability to establish relationships. However, for some people solitude is not depressing.

My Interests

Music. Film. People. Nikola tesla in 1925 stated that "There is no thing endowed with life - from man, who is enslaving the elements, to the nimblest creature - in all this world that does not sway in its turn. Whenever action is born from force, though it be infinitesimal, the cosmic balance is upset and the universal motion results." tesla also argued: "I hold that space cannot be curved, for the simple reason that it can have no properties. It might as well be said that God has properties. He has not, but only attributes and these are of our own making. Of properties we can only speak when dealing with matter filling the space. To say that in the presence of large bodies space becomes curved is equivalent to stating that something can act upon nothing. I, for one, refuse to subscribe to such a view."

" when you're hanging on by your fingernails, you can't go waving your arms around." "the guy with the rubber glove was surprisingly gentle." "[voice over] I should have gone in. im such a chicken. I should have kissed her. I should go knock on her door and just kiss her. It would be romantic. It would be something we'd tell our kids about someday. Im going to do that right now.[drives away]" "you must be dead, because i don't know how to feel. i can't feel anything anymore." " there are stories of coincidence and chance, of intersections and strange things told, and which is which and nobody knows; and we generally say, well, if that was in a movie, I wouldnt believe it."

Television:

research has shown that in the first few seconds of our perceiving something we do not only unconsciously comprehend what it is , but decide whether we like it or not. The cognative unconscious presents our awareness with not just the identity of what we see, but an opinion about it. our emotions can hold views quite independently of our rational mind. 75% of young adults have a t.v. 97% of homes have a t.v. 15 years of television veiwed per human life.

Books:

MARK TWAIN "I am persuaded that a coldly-thought-out and independent verdict upon a fashion in clothes, or manners, or literature, or politics, or religion, or any other matter that is projected into the field of our notice and interest, is a most rare thing-if it has ever existed." - The Singularity Is Near: When Humans Transcend Biology is a 2005 update of Raymond Kurzweil's 1999 book, The Age of Spiritual Machines and his 1987 book The Age of Intelligent Machines. In it, as in the two previous versions, Kurzweil attempts to give us a glimpse into what awaits us in the near future. His reasoning rests on the combination of four postulates:That a technological-evolutionary point known as "the singularity" exists as an achievable goal for humanity. That through a law of accelerating returns, technology is progressing toward the singularity at an exponential rate. That the functionality of the human brain is quantifiable in terms of technology that we can build in the near future. That medical advancements could keep a significant number of his generation (Baby Boomers) alive long enough for the exponential growth of technology to intersect and surpass the processing of the human brain.
