About Me

I am an oocasionally demented author, Editor and sometimes artist. Some of my short stories and/or poetry have appeared in the magazines, Dragonlaugh, Sword's Edge, GlassFire, Horrotica, The Eldritch Gazette and The World of Myth. My book, "Dreams of Darkness, Dreams of Night" is a collection of poems and short stories that chronicle some 25 years of my life, along with the pain, fear, tears, hope, loss and love which I have experienced during that time. Frequently dark, sometimes tender, and occasionally even humorus, the tales and poems in this book take the reader on a journey through a tormented mind, and drop you off at strange places which you might want to vist, but where you would never want to stay.To read excerpts and reviews of this book, please visit my web site at, DreamsofDarknessDreamsofNight.com . Also available on the web site are quality lithographs of some of my artwork.

My Interests

Writing, reading, movies, and art. Partaking in Renaissance Faires. History in general and pre 1700s in particular. Medieval weapons and their use. Astronomy, Archaeology, creatures of myth and fantasy and all things unexplained. Dreams and Darkness.

I'd like to meet:

Other authors, writers, and people in the publishing end of the industry. People who like to read. People who are slightly bent away from the 'norm,' and like being that way. Anyone off the 'straight and narrow' path of lfe, who enjoy their differences and are not ashamed of them. Perhaps you. "

Music:

Television:

Hate commercial television, but there are some good shows on, if you hunt them down. Deadwood rocks! Lucky Louie is a crack up. Battlestar Gallactica is possibly the best science fiction program around. Doctor Who and the Stargate programs are good about half the time. I also watch the Discovery channel--Dirty jobs is pretty funny--and the History channel.

Books:

Favorite authors: H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe (Horror), Terry Pratchett, Terry Brooks, George R.R. Martin (Fantasy), Asimov, George R.R. Martin (Sci-Fi).

Heroes:

Irving Klaw, for having the courage to go against the Puritanical mores of the 1950s and bring us, among other great bueaties, Bettie Page, and also share with us the thousands of photographs of her that so many of us now cherish.Vaughn Bode, for his artistic genius and the revolution he brought to the art world in the 1970s, but sadly did not live to see.Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft, for bringing us the written word, as it should be written, as well as sharing their mental anguish and pain with the world.
