The sultry chic singer-songwriter dangerously reaches deep while passionately asking “Will it be you and me?†on her emotional debut single DESTINY.Shaleyah has quickly emerged as a popular figure across the country, where she consistently performs at prominent clubs and venues including Apache Café, Harlem Bar, SugarHill, Crows Nest and Café 290 in the Atlanta area. Shaleyah continues to broaden her fan base by performing in alternative venues such as New York City’s Village Underground. Shaleyah’s urban hip vibe derived from her insatiable appetite for southern gospel, soul, and jazz. Shaleyah has managed to successfully infuse these influences into her very own hybrid she refers to as MUSIC. A native Houstonian, Shaleyah’s MUSIC reflects the city’s ever changing dynamic ability to rise above. In addition to being a performing singer songwriter, Shaleyah is an educator and a graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a degree in Psychology.
