Peace and Welcome to my Page:This is Jahi, emcee, educator, and member of the Hip Hop community. Origianlly from Cleveland, Ohio, now residing in Maryland. Been doing Hip Hop for 10+ years, and influenced by all good music music past and present. My style is socially conscious, heart-felt, life music. My most recent album, Soulhop The Breakthru, was released in Europe in 2006, so if you google the album title, you'll be able to find it and purchase it as an import. My new album, Intelligent Movement, will be out in February 2008 on Onefam/SLAMJAMZ recordings. (Slamjamz is Chuck D from Public Enemy's label). The whole album will be written and produced by me, and the content will be in the lane of uplifting conscious music. Other highlights in my career recently include winning 2nd place in the International Songwriting Contest www.songwritingcompetition.com, I was the official opening act for Public Enemy's 20th Anniversary Tour, and you'll see me performing later this year with KRS, Arrested Development, and many other great Hip Hop acts. More than business, at the end of the day, I am looking to make good music that speaks to the hearts and minds of everyday people worldwide. Enjoy the Music and Spread the Word.
