Our campaign, WITNESS.TO.HISTORY(W.T.H) is the blog/forum/organisation that accounts for the voices and stories misintepreted, untold or ignored.It is a cultural connection,a celebration of minds, sharing experiences, ideas, moments and even more importantly social concerns in any part of the world. ........Being an online blog we will be connecting with all 7 continents of the world so that we can break down the media propaganda that selectively choose the stories that supposedly 'matter' to satisfy interests of the invested few. But what really matters! is that the average 'journalist', writer, spokesman or women, artist, music or otherwise, individual and civillian, speak, spread the word and represent for those that cannot; take the opportunity and some responsibility of street journalist to document the stories that can be shared bringing awareness to the basic human rights that are abused each day.......... In the 1994 Pulitzer Prize nominee, Kevin Carter took this photograph above of an African girl, nothing but a skeleton, was trying to crawl towards a U.N. Food Shelter, about one kilometer away. Behind his back, a few yards away was a vulture waiting for the boy to die to feast. The picture of the vulture stalking a starving girl is real and was taken in Sudan in 1993
