About Me

I'm a guy who is either very shy and very quiet (enough to make people nervous) or very boisterous, whether I'm singing to the people at the McDonald's Drive-through speaker or pole dancing with a microphone stand at Tipsy's (the coolest bar in Dalton). I enjoy a good party with friends (no drama please, cause I don't want you to wreck anybody's fun). If you become my friend, I consider you to be so for life. I try my best to never let my friends down...

My Interests

I like to muck about with pcs and electronics of all kinds. I am a GNU/Linux fanatic (although I do support other free/open source operating systems). I enjoy sci-fi and medieval fantasy. I like to game. I participate in archery, horseback riding whenever I get the chance, and pool. I suppose I'm a nerd.

Music:

Favored Bands: Cowboy Mouth, Nirvana, A Perfect Circle, Kentucky Headhunters, Fallout Boy, many others.Favored Artists: Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Martina McBride, Cledus T. Judd, Weird Al Yankovich, many others.

Movies:

Much different plot.V for Vendetta - Is the harbinger of things to come?Monty Python and the Holy Grail - unaminously selected as a the movie that marks a distinguished nerd.Disney movies - I'm a sucker for a well constructed family movie (like Shrek or Ice Age).

Television:

I used to watch the Simpsons, South Park, Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Seinfeld, Law and Order, CSI, and Saturday Night Live. Now, I don't watch much TV unless it's ManiaTV.

Books:

Fire Arrow - excellent Soviet-era novel about the rescue of hostages from a group of terrorists.Lord of the Rings: Without this trilogy and The Hobbit, I wouldn't have discovered medieval fantasy.Seven Deadly Sins: Trivia book detailing some notorious examples of the sins throughout history. All's Quiet on the Western Front: The definitive anti-war novel.Catcher in the Rye: I've never read a more angst-filled novel. After reading, I listened to Green Day and Nirvana and cursed the inanity of the world.

Heroes:

Mahatma Ghandi George S. Patton My mom. Mother Teresa Carol Wojcytla, aka Pope John Paul II Thomas Jefferson Leonardo Da Vinci Any American Soldier, Airman, Sailor, or Marine.
