Trouble Esquire

People will come looking for me when I make a sonic boom...Sherwin Excell said so.

About Me

I'm Duly Licensed and Certified to Practice in all the Courts of the State of New York, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Sourthern Districts of New York. I Dance for Vissi. I'm against War, White Supremacy, cultural hegemony, stupidity, bullshit and haters. I respect artists of all types. I'm known to enjoy the company of any human with good energy and intelligence. I talk too much, read too much, think too much and more often than not these days, I smoke. I have seven brothers and they'll all kick your ass if you mess with me. I have 6 sisters and they are all Divas. Seven if you count Adrial, my first cousin, our family's equivalent of a red-headed step-child. She's a Diva too. I'm blessed to have more Best F. Friends than any one woman should have. And thank heavens, the list gets longer with time...

This Season: ME! The Beauty of it all is that I am Here, the living vision of my ancestors and the legacy to my parents. Despite the fury and violence of colonial hatred and the brutal insanity of patriarchial domination, I am Here. And when I die, I will still be Here on this earth a kinetic paragon of strength. Just as the strength of my ancestors is Here breathing through me, through you, through us all. Breathe my people, breathe… Power to the People. No War. “Breathe my people, breathe” - Jalila Bell
