Muscle Memory Dance Theatre
is a collaborative company that honors and encourages dance professionals from around North Texas in their evocative use of dance as an organic, communicative art.Lesley Snelson-Figueroa is a Co-Artistic Director of M2DT and is a Professor of Dance at Collin County Community College. Before arriving at Collin, Lesley served as adjunct dance faculty for Texas Woman's University, Tarrant County College, and University of North Texas and was faculty & choreographer for Denton Dance Conservatory. Her love for movement and fitness lead her to become a Certified Pilates Trainer through Colleen Glenn's PeakPilates System and New York City's, Power Pilates System. Mrs. Figueroa completed her MFA studies in choreography and dance performance at Texas Woman's University, her undergraduate studies in Business Economics and Dance at Mills College in Oakland,CA, and is a graduate of the Dallas Arts Magnet High School.Contact M2DT by first looking at our website for information that you may wish to know.
