Bored To Death? - Click Here Yeah!Musically I love hip hop... Good hip hop. MC..s!!! That..s a long conversation there. (This part is only for real hip hop heads. So fast foward to the next paragraph if your not, cause it..ll go right over your little heads.)
It gives me a jolt of energy when I see someone nodding their head to a beat and rhyme, with their lips pressed together, eyes closed, and their hand balled up in a fist, because they "get it". Because they understood the ingenuity of the rhyme scheme and the complexity of the flow. Because of the ridiculous bassline tingling their spine. Because they know that hip hop is a their lifeline. Hip hop... Real Hip Hop. Like Big Daddy Kane rippin.. "The Wrath of Kane", or G-Rap killing the anchor verse to "The Symphony", or Rakim..s voice of confidence narrating you through the story of Know the Ledge, or KRS One dissin Queens on the simpilist four track beat, or early Biz Mark records at a party, or Chuck D telling heads to Bring the Noise, or Nice and Smooth..s simple ass catchy tunes (You know you liked it too.), or Native Tongues creativity, or when I hear the dj at a club tease the crowd with the beat to "Put it in your mouth" when he..s about to end the prior song, and then he/she finally drops it, or Artifacts old school b-boy flava, or Smooth Da Hustla and Trigga the Gambla..s Broken Language. The way Onyx and Das Efx, and NWA changed game. (Who was yellin with that grimy voice, doing that iggedy ish, and gangsta rappin to that degree before that?) or A live Run DMC show. Ohhh is that too far back for the youngins? I love... Biggie tellin.. us about his dreams and what he..ll do to the chicks in ..em. "The Purple Tape" (either you get it or you don..t). Jay..s arrogance on "Come and Get Me" or his vivid picture of "Where I..m from". (Same stuff everyone else says but, It aint what you say, it..s how you word it) "Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?". Nas spittin Ether or the energy in "Made you look". Redman!!! (Nuff said!) M.O.P. tellin cats to Ante Up! Hearing Meth doing M-E-T-H-O-D- Man for the very first time. Mobb Deep..s short asses telling cats they shook. Souls of Mischief..s and Canibus..s vocabulary (you just don..t know). Ghostface makin up his own vocabulary (and "Niggaz tryin to flip it and bounce it on some bullisht.") The way Wu-Tang came in and bumrushed the industry with their new strategy and startin up the alter ego alias names trend. Eminem freestyle battling (off the top of the head) in underground clubs (don..t sleep). "The Chronic". THE AURA OF TUPAC!New School Heads...I'm not really impressed. I do like Lupe Fiasco, Kanye, Luda, Mike Joooones, Game, Cassidy, Papoose, Slim Thug, Lil Wayne (I know, I know) (wow. thats a lotta down south...) A dipset cut here and there. The rest is gaahbage!!!! I'm prolly forgetting some heads but if I cant name em off the top, then are they really that important? As far as singers... I'm a straight Neo Soul Head. So that's- Jilly, Erykah, Bilal, D Angelo, John Legend, Musiq, Anthony Hamilton, Jaguar Wright, Robin Thicke, Lyfe (woo wee! That kid is real!). Also Prince, Nikka Costa, Lenny Kravitz, Michael Jackson b4 he was Wacko Jacko,All the old school greats like Al Green, Mayfield, Stevie, Marvin Gaye, etc... (I didnt reall grow up with them playin in the house so I'm late and not up on everything. I started crankin them in my college years.Last but not least ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... SADE! De La and Red. Who woulda thought that would mix... Me! CREATIVITY AT IT'S BEST!Free Myspace Graphics

Television:

YO SON... CANT WE JUST HAVE A FRIENDLY BATTLE? Iron Cracked dat ass! Iron vs Math part 2 (I think Math got this round) The tibreaker goes to Iron Solomon in my opinion.//////////This kid reminds me of young Beanie Seigel. The Wire, Luckie Louie, Def Comedy Jam, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Ali G Show (Borat for president), Entourage, boxing after dark, ... (can u tell I like HBO?), Movies made by HBO are hot too. The Chappelle show of course, Mad Money, and the NFL network. I like Nature too. Regular tv is just straight up 24! Okay okay... One of my favorite rap groups. Two heavily slept on classic albums.

Heroes:

Robert Nesta Marley...Peaceful Dude. Listen to the lyrics of his songs. This guy was so philosophically deep. He was light years ahead of his time. True aquarian!Tupac is the realest dude there ever was our age. I admire his honesty.Do you realize what this couple had to go through to get to the level they were at. They both had to be down for each other to the 100th degree. And they encapsulated courage and support as a couple. Thanks King family for not giving up. I love yall.Maxine Waters is hip hops mom. She understands what real hip hop and its products are about. Up on congress she defends it and points fingers at the real problems instead of using hip hop as a scapegoat. But just like a good mom, when something is wrong, she's gonna tell ya!"The Autobiography of Malcolm X" Nuff said! Proof that you can change your views and always grow no matter how old you are or what you've done. This guy was 3 different people and went through 2 major transformations. His story is amazing. He was a brilliant courageous man! Do I really have to say anything about this guy? He backs up what he says. And he put his freedom and larger than life lifestyle on the line for what he believed in! He aint believe in the war, so he didnt take part in the war. Even when they were gonna lock him up and strip him of his title. ...And oh yeah- he could kinda box too.
