I've been singing Jazz 'n Blues for as long as I can remember with various bands, mostly in London. I took some time off to train as an actress at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA), and then worked on several different seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company which was an incredible experience - I worked with the likes of Vanessa Redgrave (man I even went swimming with her). I've been away from music for too long which is my real passion in life so now I'm just finishing off my songs and about to put my new band together which will be based in Madrid as that's where I'm living now. check out the soul band I've been singing with in Spain www.soultellers.com I've recently been in an independant film called "Voices From Afar" with Paul McGann and Gary kemp, I was also in an award winning show called "Come out Elli." I'm involved with the Alzheimers Society and feel very strongly about the work they do, I've done Radio interviews, A channel 4 mini documentory, Lectures and varrious other things to raise awarmess about the disease. I'm also writing a book that has a lot to do with the disease. The things I like to do are, walkng in the countryside no matter the weather, Books(To kill a mocking Bird and I Know why a Caged Bird Sings,Post Office, Film(too many to list) being with my friends,traveling, good food. theatre, nature( I can sit for hours just looking at trees or watching stars). I'm a postive person and truely believe that out of bad good good can come if we only open our eyes a little wider.I wrote this song for my hero, my mother who suffered from Alziemers, sadly she passed away.
