Tha Tag Team is a duo of brothers, Jack Frost and Max Browz, hailing from South London. The pair have been part of the underground urban scene for a number of years, working with various crews and artists along the way.
They began homing their skills at both song writing and producing but it wasn’t until early 2004 when their real journey began. It was at this point, they gained a slot on South London’s premier grime pirate radio station, OnTop Fm. Whilst there, they quickly established a name for themselves and were recognised for their lyrical abilities. The sudden popularity of Grime also allowed them to showcase their talents at public events and on numerous DVD’s. After a few years perfecting their crafts Tha Tag Team decided that it was time to take their music careers a step further.
In 2007 they released their first official mix cd "The Cake Only Cuts Once" which featured songs with a strong underground influence but still a commercial appeal. It was made evident that the boundaries of genre could not hold the Team back and they displayed themselves as all-round artists shaping up to be ready for the industry. They would then make a debut on the television screens with their lead single "Show Me Something" taken from their 2007 release.
Tha Tag Team are currently working on new material and have a number of projects scheduled for release throughout the course of the year.
