Mel Murda (born Joel Sasma in Harlem, Manhattan, New York City, New York, United States on May 27, 1979) is a member of Dipset.Struggling through poverty, Mel spent seven years in jail starting at the age of eighteen years old for charges ranging from drug possession to armed robbery. During this time, at the suggestion of his good friend J.
