We Make Those Duran Duran Guys Look Ugly

About Me

Like a scream of the most wonderful sound ever, this is how the critics have discribed the music of The Vainiacs - US. Unafraid to expess emotions, and feelings of lust, longing and loss the Vainiacs - US has established themselves at the cutting edge of a new and exciting genre of music, a music the at its core is "Man-centric" but honest enough to have a broad appeal to women. The Vainiacs will never be accused of pandering to women, which in the words of their groupies and fans is what sets this band apart. These lifelong friends have come together to form quite possibly the most improtant band ever. Our music is a combination of thoughtful introspective songs as well as a cache of raunchy sexually explicit songs with lyrics about men and their desires for women and more specifically hot sweaty all night sex with women who go home after and let us get a good night sleep and then thank us for it later. If a woman wants to see what men are really about then listen to the honesty portrayed in the music of The Vainiacs. The unique thing about our band is that we are primarily novice musicians with the exception of our lead guitarist, the Lazy Genius, however, our enthusiasm for our art and our energy and commitment to performance and our fans is unmatched. With a catelogue of over 30 songs, the band has embarked on a period of creativity uinmatched in recent memory. Songs like "Slip it In" "Insensitive" and "Sweet Smell" as well as introspective songs of struggle and heat ache such as "Black Hole" will give some insight into the capability and depth of the band. Vocals are provided by our Bass player the G-Man with his trademark cape, and rhythem Guitarist Rob Fallice. With a twinkle in his eyes the G-Man talks about how these two part harmonies are an intregil part of the Vainiac sound. Drum work is handled by the ever capable Johnny Thunderclap.

Influences: The influences of The Vainiacs are somewhat hard to discribe. The music is certainly more subtle in innuendo than today's music but the message was clear and the message for the most part was seduction, lust and hot steamy sex. I think that in many ways the band is also influenced by the likes of Dylan for the way we connect thoughts in our lyrics, The Beatles for our pop sensibilities, Pink Floyd for the relative sparceness and spacial feeling of our songs and Aerosmith and AC/DC for our raunchiness and love of leather. The G-man is heavily influenced by The King and pays homage to him by donning a cape at the outset of every performance. Principal songwriter Rob Falice describes the music as the soundtrack of our lives, provided that you work in adult entertainment. Rob's and The G-Man's goal in all of this has always and continues to be to try and hook up with women involved in the adult entertainment industry. Something about their openness and honesty about their sexuality is exciting, plus as Rob says can their be two carreers that have a greater parrallel.
Sounds Like: The Vainiacs sound can has been discribed as the sound of LUST, the sound of DESIRE, the sound of HOT - SWEATY - RAW - ANIMAL - SEX. The music of Vainiacs can be discribed as the feeling you get when you meet that person and you know that what you are about to do is ANIMAL and that you may feel a little dirty afterewards but it will be well worth that feeling. The music of the Vainiacs will make you want to smoke a ciggerette after you listen to it even if you don't smoke.
