About Me

Black Hole Generator was started as a one man project by me, BjÃ¸rnar E. Nilsen in 2006. I wanted to use it to explore my more extreme musical influences. Things quickly escalated though, and labels started showing interest in the band. Within two months Dreggen(Aeternus/Deathcon) joined on guitars, and the work on the initial Black Hole Generator released started.

Black Karma was recorded and mixed in Conclave & Earshot studios in the last half of 2006 and released through America based label Ars Magna Recordings in desember 2006. The mini-cd is produced by BHG, mastered by Herbrand Larsen(Enslaved) and feature a guest performance by Ares of Aeternus.
A live line-up has now been assembeled, including Ã˜yvind Madsen(Sulphur,Vulture Industries, ex-Enslaved) and Ares(Aeternus) on guitars and Mads Guldbekkhei (The Allseeing I, Zeenon) on drums.
2007 will see the first Black Hole Generator live shows as well as the bands first full length album. Stay Alert!
