About Me


Brainwash was born in 2000 as a thrash core band. At that moment, it was formed by: Javi (drums), Muiños (guitar), Txolo (bass) and Brais (vocals). They recorded a 4 songs demo and played some gigs with local bands. Javi left the band because of musical differences and Ivan entered as the new drummer. That formation recorded a 7 songs demo including a Zombie Apocalypse cover (Mortician) in 2004. Music turned into a brutal-thrash-grindcore armaggeddon. After the recording and some concerts with Wisdom, Barbarian Propecies, Sobek, Fermento... Brais left and a new day was upcoming for the band. Bruno comes as the new singer and music changes again into a “faster than a bullet” death-grindcore. Brainwash toured across the north of Portugal with Pandemia.
In 2006 David (vocals) and Ruben (guitar) come into Brainwash. Since then, Brainwash has played in some Spanish and Portuguese metalfests like Napalm Fest, SWR 9, Caos emergente with bands as CBT, Skinless, Bolt Thrower, Ingrowing, Namek, Isaacarum, Bleeding Display, Goldenpyre, Demented, Necrose, The Ladder, Ictus.... We’ve edited 4 Brainwash’ songs from our previous ’04 demo in a split with Third World’s Mouning, Sadok and Deep Vein (by Metal Rules prod.)and tour over Spain with Raw Decimating Brutality. We’re up to edit a new split CD with Beyond Terror Beyond Grace (Australia) and Onanizer (Czech) under Grindhead Recs. with 4 songs from our 2006 recording.
