MoMo is the daugther of a Gaspésienne Mother and an Italian Father.
The total opposite of the usual Dancehall Queen.
Small of shape, clear skinned and coming from a place where snow fall’s almost 7 months a year. There was no way to imagine that this thin white girl would one day conquer Jamaican crowds.
The dancing queen has been inspired by dance and music since she was just a toddler, and anything artistic has always been her priority.
Since the past 5 years, after being influenced for the first time by reggae dancing with Sean Paul’s dancers in the video ''Get busy'', MoMo has since then proven herself and represented in many different events and competitions around the world, in Canada, England, Italy, Jamaica, Japan & Usa.
Qualifying for a second place in 2004 at the official international Dancehall Queen competition in Montego bay, Jamaica an event produced by Big Head Promotions & Red Label Wine, where she was also a crowd favorite in 2005, but unfortunately not making the top 5 that year.
Momo has also won Picture man Lloyd’s Miss Canadian Dancehall Queen competition 2004 held in Toronto.
She also featured in the first world renowned DVD series about reggae dancing, ''How fi dance Reggae'' volume II produced by Rick Aiken, and the newly released reggae dancing DVD series “Dancehall Queen Express 2’’ produced by “Spicy Chocolateâ€, one of the top japanese sound system in Tokyo.
Big tings a gwaan for Momo and she is at the top of her game since she has won the coveted title of Miss International Dancehall Queen in Montego bay, Jamaica, in July 2K7. Being the second non Jamaican in history to acheive this after the japanese Junko ''Bashment'' Kudo.
She has had with this opportunity the chance to do what she loves most and spread the love threw her art to wider audiences worldwide as well as contributing to the expansion and recognition of reggae dancing by giving intense dance classes in Tokyo, Japan.
MoMo is also a recording artist under the name Peach Gyal and will soon be putting out her long waited album and is heading for a massive Japan Tour !
