Heya and welcome to my page for my IANT (and other alias lol) Productions and NY/UK nites + Promotions.It will cater for any info about my nites, raves i'm DJ'ing at, my radio playlists plus artists on my www.nforms.co.uk/iant site, photos from the NY/UK nites and of course my own music productions.So here's a bit about myself then.Well i'm in my late 20's (27 yrs old July past) and from North West London.I got into DJ'ing by listening to my older brother's rap and soul records collection (as he used to DJ as well in the late 80's / early 90's) and by watching music shows on T.V. during the late 80's / early 90's (eg. Westwood - Night Network, Behind The Beat, Dance Energy, TOTPS, YO MTV RAPS etc ...).I also liked listening to my Mum and Dad's old records which ranged from reggae, soul and pop (YES i did say POP! LOL).I didn't really start collecting records until late 94 (i was more into computer games until then) when i bought an R'n'B track by Riff called Judy Had A Boyfriend and ruff Hip Hop track by Das Efx called Freakit and to this day i can stop buying tracks!.The tune that changed my life was a track by the legendary Rap group EPMD called Crossover (which was made in 92'). If it wasn't for that tune then i wouldn't be DJing right now or near music.I got my Sound Lab belt drive turntables in middle 96' thanx to my brother who taught me who to mix and since 96' i have steadily improved my skillls (as well as get some proper Techs to mix on lol) and now i'am really confident that i can play at any rave i get the chance to and mash up the crowd.So far i've played in Germany twice (for the Payin' Clients Cru in 02' and DJ Krimba in 04' and it was probably the best thing that happened to me so far when it comes to DJing) and various clubs and bars in London and thr surrounding counties under my own name (House and G, R'n'B and Rap) and my DJ Rangler (R'n'B/Rap) and Au Naturel (House and G) monkiers since 00'.I've had radio shows Vybe FM 99.5 (Summer 05' - Spring 06') and www.manicfm.com (Spring 05') where i played the best in House and Garage and should be back on the dial in the next few months or so.I run my own regular nite too which is called NY/UK and takes place one saturday a month in Bar Uno in Camden, which plays all the types of music that i love and feel which is Old Skool Rap, Swingbeat and R'n'B (Mid 80-90's) and House and Garage (Mid 90's to now). That has been going for over a year now.I produce beats too and have been doing so properly since 03' (before that i had been in and out of learning the ropes since 98').
